Well hello, this rather random impromptu post is mostly in response to a dear friend, Jacki, the owner of http://thepintsizedpirate.blogspot.com/. (This is all your fault, dear, but I still <3 you!)
So, I suppose some background is in order. Well, for starters, I am a norse wiccan and descendant of a very old family line hailing from Poland and then the lovely Salem, Massachusetts. I still have a family member who is very dear to me who owns a shop down there, and if you can guess who it is, then perhaps I'm not as anonymous and I like to think I can be. ^-^
My favorite animal is the arctic wolf, but horses are my other love, as I have been training and rehabilitating abused equestrians from a young age.
I am a practicing wiccan, but up until recently I have not had much use for ceremonial majick (mostly due to my undergraduate work preventing me from both a normal sleep schedule and any manner of free time that wasn't spent eating or running to class). If you have no respect for my lifestyle than I ask for you to please leave me be and merry meet, merry part, and I pray for your sake we never meet again. I do live by the saying "do what ye will but do no harm" that my ancestors practiced before me, so please do not think I am some crazed individual with a list of curses. I can assure you I mean no harm, I am knowledgeable in the art of compounding medicinal herbs and this has aided greatly in my career as an ally to those with life altering or otherwise unpleasant illnesses.
Lastly, this blog will mostly be a place for fun posts about wicca (I really do love Jacki's idea of "Majick Mondays), a few basic herb based remedies to share, little twittering's about animals and their role in our lives, and some fun little photo-shoot related garble (because I do model, unprofessionally for a friend, and mostly for majick-related media) and I feel like, pending on a mature audience and positive reaction, those images would be fun to share.
Well, that's it for now I suppose. Keep checking back for more updates and: merry meet, merry part, and merry meet again! ^-^
